She is blamed for breaking up the Beatles, and is critiqued for her personal relationships. As a result, very few people know that she is actually a very successful artist and activist.

The goal of this portrait was to focus solely on Yoko Ono as an artist and activist, and show that women have value beyond their roles as wives and mothers.
