The goal of this project was to create a sophisticated but unique brand identity for this emerging architecture firm. I designed a custom font for the logo and created a website using Squarespace for both desktop and mobile.
I payed careful attention to make sure the website was clean and legible, and did not use Squarespace’s default templates.
After researching the websites of several other architecture firms, I decided to use a blue, rust, and tan color scheme throughout the website to reflect the humanistic nature in the work of the firm and to set it apart from the stark black and white color schemes typically used.
I created several sketches for the clients to choose from before finalizing the logo.
The final design uses strong shape language and adds playfulness through the sizing of the capitals and the arrangement of the letters in the logo mark.
